Real Madrid move up to third

By winning their game in hand by a 3-1 scoreline in Leganes, Real Madridleapfrogged Valencia in the LaLiga table.

Last season's champions are now into third place, with 48 points to their name, two more than Los Che.
Not only are they now into the automatic qualification spots for next season's Champions League, but Los Blancos are now nine points ahead of fifth-placed Sevilla.
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are still ahead of Zinedine Zidane's men, with 62 and 55 points respectively, but Real Madrid are moving closer, something Sergio Ramos pointed out after the match.
